Visualizing famous Armenian curves

Curvy Like a Kardashian is a typography based project that combines two famous curves from Armenia: the Kardashians and the Armenian alphabet. This project consists of two parts: poster and a leaflet. Curvy Like a Kardashian is a piece that talks about modern body ideals through the Kardashians while also taking a look into their heritage and family history.

This project was an assignment during a typography course at Aalto University. Each student was assigned a non-latin writing system at random. I did not know anything about Armenia, except that Cher and the Kardashians are part Armenian, and then I got the idea to use curves as a combining element. I wrote the essay on the leaflet and built the entire design around those ideas.
