Accessibility

Drawn up 5 June 2026, updated 11 September 2026

This is the accessibility statement for Jenni Lintumäki’s online portfolio.

The site has been designed and built on the principle that web content should be accessible to everyone, regardless of the device they use or any disability they may have.

Accessibility status

This website fully meets the WCAG 2.2 level AA accessibility requirements.

The simple, clear structure of the site supports accessibility. Conformance shows up in the following ways, among others:

  • Keyboard use: The entire site and all of its features can be used seamlessly with a keyboard alone.
  • Screen reader support: The markup is semantically valid. Heading structures, landmarks and buttons are marked up correctly, and all visual information has an appropriate text alternative.
  • Visual accessibility: Contrast between text and background meets the strict accessibility requirements. The layout adapts to the screen size, and text can be enlarged without losing content or functionality.
  • Cognitive accessibility: The content is kept concise, the language plain and the navigation logical.

There are currently no known accessibility shortcomings on the site.

How the assessment was made

Accessibility has been assessed through self-evaluation when the site is published and updated. The assessment used both automated accessibility tools and manual testing (for example keyboard navigation and screen reader software).
